I've been blogging since the before time (ie my first computer program was recorded on cassette tape) and my first hard drive cost about as much the MacBook being used to type this. My first byline was in 1993 for CompuTrade International, a rag I eventually helmed, and my last "real job" was with Shuttle, Inc, which makes those toaster oven-sized computers gamers like. Throughout it all I've freelanced and blogged.

I'm a graduate of Jamestown Community College (AS, Mathematics) and the University of Pittsburgh (BA, Chinese). Been married long enough to know better and we have two lovely, wonderful children that I'm still making payments on.
